Its been a while since I last posted, been very busy living life in Aus I am 5 months pregnant and we would like to visit SA as soon as possible after the baby is born (while I am still on maternity leave). The catch to the whole situation is that we are on a 457 visa and therefore our child will need an SA passport. I just saw a post that someone waited 7 months for a passport out of SA?! Is there a way of getting it faster, or can the child possibly travel on my passport or get an "emergency passport"? We would like to book the tickets soon and they will be for roughly 2 months after the baby is born.Are we totally screwed or is the SA visit still possible?
