Dear Jose M

There is a fairly large South African Portuguese community in Perth. Certainly nowhere near as large as in SA , but once a year they get together for a New Years Party in Ocean Reef. I had to complete a form a few weeks ago as they are looking at putting together a Portuguese Club and wanted to check out the repsonse.

I am not Portuguese , but just love the Portuguese Culture/Food and outlook to life , that I advised the lady

whom is trying to organise this that my family and I would be interested.

There is a fairly large Brazilian Community and of course in Freemantle there is a fairly large fishing community that originated from Madereira.

You can find Caldo Verde at the market Gardens and Baccalhau and Chorizo sausage with out to many problems. The prawns are devine.
