Tilla
Both my father and my father-in-law are over 70 and are planning to come for a visit some time next year. I found out that they have to go for a medical examination and I am wondering how strict they are? My father has been smoking since he was fourteen I think, so his lungs are not what they are supposed to be, but otherwise he is still up and going, working even, and generally in good health. My father-in-law has high cholesterol, diabetes and I think high blood pressure as well, on his list (that is just the ones I can think of now) - but I don't believe he is in danger to "drop dead" unexpectedly. They are both very excited and I would hate for them to find out that they will never be able to visit us.
