Adelaide Church

I find Charismatic churches tend to come and go in popularity.

In the 1970s the place to be was the Christian New Life Centre in Sturt Street in the city (of Adelaide) itself.

Nowadays, it seems that the Paradise Church is getting a lot of attention, much like the Hillsong church in Sydney.

Paradise Church was the place where "Family First" began as a political party in Australia.

The Family First party promotes "family values" in contrast to lots of contemporary social moves (e.g. gay & lesbian rights) which many don't think are conducive to good family up-bringing.

I'll leave you with it!

Not sure what NFI is, but the Paradise Community Church is Assemblies of God. The Edge church in Reynella (southern suburbs) is the new "place to be" among the youth these days. I think it's also Assemblies of God.

The Blackwood Hills Baptist church is great and also very tolerant towards all and sundry... their style of service is very much "charismatic" in style.. B)
