Iron-gut
Has anyone come across this scenario before. My wife and I went for our medicals for our 136 visa yesterday and she decided to wait untill the birth of our baby(end of March) before getting x-rays. She did do the medical though. Am I right to assume DIMIA will delay the issuing of the visa untill they have her x-rays?
Tazz
I think they would as the purpose of the XRays is to check out the status of your lungs wether they have TB or not. From the xray I discovered un beknowns to me I had a cracked rib that had healed itself. Linda
Hi,That's exactly what we're bargaining on ... go for the medicals after the baby is born and then you can also add the baby to your visa application. Otherwise you must apply for a seperate child visa if your baby is born in SA and your visa is granted before the birth. Or so I understand it.
