Adelaide accommodation

We live in Melbourne and my husband is taking on a 3 month contract in Adelaide. He got the job at short notice (1 week) and the panic has set in because he is finding it hard to find a place to stay at short notice.

We will be flying to Adelaide tomorrow (Wednesday) for a quick look around as he starts work on Monday 24 August.

Is there anyone out there who could either recommend something or offer to rent a a room/flatlet for him until he finds something?

He will be away most weekends either flying back to Melbourne to visit us or 4 wheel driving, cycling and general discovering of the surroundings.

I would be most appreciative of any help offered.

They offer short term rentals in cabins, and the short to medium term rates are apparently reasonable. Good luck!

Dear All

Thanks for all the help and suggestions, fortunately John found a little apartment in Leabrook (Adelaide) but now has another dilemma.

He is not allowed to store his little trailer on the property and has 1 week to find an alternative place to store it.

Does anyone know or can offer to store the (small) trailer on their property for a maximum of 3 months. They would be more than welcome to use it during this time.
