Updating my signature

hi

this may be a dumb question ... each time i try to update my signature, it gives me an error message: "signature too long". i notice that my signature is definitely shorter than some others, so wondered what i am doing wrong. am i being dense or is there something i need to do to fix this?

Hi Buzzbee

A change was brought about, more or less a year ago, in the length allowed for signatures, only 400 characters are allowed. Now I know it is confusing because there are still some lengthy ones out there. The reason for this is that they have not changed their signature, the minute they go in to make a change, it is going to give them the same error message as what yours is giving you.
