Pat Posted February 19, 2009 Report Share Posted February 19, 2009 We have a Pawnbroker, Secondhand Dealer business to sell leasehold. It is in Gladstone, the start of the Great Barrier Reef. Gladstone is an industrial town with several new projects due to come online in the very near future.The shop is open 5.5 days a week and we close over public holidays and take a break at Christmas. We do a lot of business in second hand furniture and have a variety of other stuff to sell - laptops, cameras, stereos, tvs, musical instruments, jewellry, bikes, gym equipment - even the kitchen sink! We also sell some new furniture - because we cannot always get the best quality seconds and because we keep the price competitive we do quite nicely from this. While not making us millionaires overnight, we live comfortably and have had two overseas holidays in the 2.5 years we have had this business. We are both looking to retire because we have health issues and would like to slow down somewhat. The price is AUD$195 + SAV + Pawn Loan Bank.
