There are quite a few South Africans living there especially from Richards Bay. If you like fishing, boating and just peaceful and relaxed outdoor living then Gladstone will suit you. I didn't spend enough time there to get a full impression of the area.I hope that you meet some people who live there. It is nicer to have somebody to welcome you and show you around.
