Uploading Photos

Happy2Bhere

Question

Hi

It looks like me and Polly are the regular photographers for the Melbourne forum.

I can only upload 2MB of photos. Is there a way I can increase this?

Thanks

Trudie

I upload the photos to Photobucket: http://www.photobucket.com

Once you have uploaded them, there is a link you can copy and paste into your post. It then shows the photos. That way you do not 'store' any photos on the forum.

The link has %7Boption%7D tags around it

You then don't have to worry about image sizes at all.

If you hover your mouse pointer over the image you have uploaded, you will see different codes underneath it. You want the IMG Code Just click in the code and it will automatically select and copy it, so you can just paste in your message. It can be a lot of copying and pasting

Yes Picasa Web Albums is a good place to share photos. I assume you already have Picasa. Log on to to picasa web albums and select an album. On the right you will see link to this album in blue. use the one that says Paste link in email or IM . Just copy that and paste it in a topic on the forums. Good luck
