engel81
Hi thereI am a qualified teacher and will be at home from 22 December - 4 January where I have nothing planned. I thought I would over my services as a babysitter or child minder over this period. I live in Sutherland. Please send me an email if you are interested in using my services. I would also be interested in doing this over weekends during the year, so if you would be interested in that, please feel free to contact me!Ps - I am fluent in Afrikaans and English

KathyW
Just for interest sake, how much does this sort of thing cost, from a Mum's prospective.I look after a little girl in the week and was wondering if I am overcharging or undercharging, does anyone know at all.CheersKathy
Overtaker
I heard ad hoc babysitting typically costs $15 to $25 per hour... (I think we paid $18/hr once)We currently have an au pair who we pay $7/hr plus food, board, internet, limited use of the car etc. If she looks after our friends kids as well, then they normally pay her $30 to $50 a day.dunno if that helps...maybe in my new life of redundancy I should open up a Daddy's Daycare in the Northern Suburbs? sbhennops
well with all those daycare centers closing you lot will make a killing and be filling a gap in the market in your areas. Don't have kids so none of those worries for me.
