Legalbuff
Hello all,With the big move in 2008 I have had to leave my old and trusted recipe book with my sister in law. I'll get it back one day when she visits, but that is not in the near or foreseeable future.I had a great recipe for self made mustard sauce.I remember 4 things:a) It called for a whole tin of dry mustard; I think there was condensed milk somewhere in the mixc) I think I remember something about vinegard) It was just mixing - I can't remember cooking anythinge) I got the recipe from an old Huisgenoot I found in my mum's home. Can anyone help??? I need it as an accompaniment (ouch, sp?) for a nice glazed Christmas ham...Thanks all!!!!!

Sibella
Hello all,With the big move in 2008 I have had to leave my old and trusted recipe book with my sister in law. I need it as an accompaniment (ouch, sp?) for a nice glazed Christmas ham...Thanks all!!!!!O die wonder van die internet - hier sit ek in Engeland en lees jou versoek en dink aan my skoonma wat altyd kersfees daai lekker mostert sous maak.Unfortunately I can't find her recipe but found this one online:blik kondensmelk2 eiergele350 ml bruinasyn 1 blik mosterdpoeierKlits kondensmelk en eiergele meng die mosterdpoeier en asyn goed saam (dit sal klonte maak maar roer goed). Klits by die kondensmelk. As dit te dik is verdun 150 ml asyn met 150 ml water en roer goed by mengsel kan maande hou in yskas.Hope this is the right one, if not I'm sure someone else will be able to help, otherwise I can skype her and ask for the recipe (which would be embarrasing as she already gave it to me but I've never made it!)
