Hi Riekie

I have been trying to change my avatar photo. I've done it before and it was quite simple. For some reason, it won't allow me to change this time. I can remove the existing one (of the umbrella on the beach) but as soon as I choose a new one (the dog), the old one reappears. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I see the dog... Is that the one you want? If not, Email me the photo you want on your profile to riekie at saaustralia dot org and I'll add it for you - you may have a setting on your PC which does not allow the change for some reason - I'm no tech expert, so I'm not able to tell why you're having the problem.

When you change the Avatar and still see the old one you must do an Internet Explorer Refresh. The old one sits in cache and a refresh will update it (View - Refresh, or F5 or click the Refresh Button).

How to set up an avatar:

Linking to a picture on a website:

Go to your control panel (My Controls top right of screen). Click on Edit Avatar Settings. In the open text box next to Enter a URL to an online avatar image paste the link to the exact picture you want (if you didn't save it on your machine and want to link to the one on the web)

Getting a picture off your pc/mac

Go to your control panel (My Controls top right of screen). Click on Edit Avatar Settings. Click on the Choose File button next to Upload a new image from your computer/ Browse until you get the picture you want.

Click on Update Avatar when done
