difficulty posting in "settling in"

hi guys - for about a week now I have been trying to post a message in the settling in forum. Everytime I try I get a error messgae saying "flood control". I have waited, closed the internet, logged back in and all to no avail. If I go from this forum to another one and post immediately after I have no problem...

Any ideas?

When it happens again, wait at least 30 seconds, then try again (don't click on anything else while you wait). If this does not solve the problem, PM Hendie for help!

Hi! I have tried again and its still happening. I have no problem posting in anywhere else. Just here... its been about week that its been doing this. I can sometimes wait 5 minutes - nothing! Will PM Hendie.

Maybe rather Email Hendie (not PM) : hendie at saaustralia dot org - as he is not on the forum all the time, he might see his Email sooner.

You say it's only in the settling in subform you're having the problem?

I've checked out all your settings - everything is OK. Weird...

Hi guys! I seem to have figured out the problem. If you check my previous issue about not being able to log onto fresh pages your advice was to clear the cache, which I never got round too

Anyway I had this sneaking suspicion it might be the same problem so I checked my internet settings and it was set to "NEVER" open a new page on website, which I have now changed. Sorry! and Thanks
