polly
We go do a lot of our shopping for essentials at the Victoria Market. I love it there. It is noisy and very alive. The vendors all scream out prices, competing with the guy next door. It is mostly very much cheaper than buying at Coles. End of the day they mark down the stock drastically just to get it off the shelves. You definitely need to take a little trolley with. You can rent one at the market if you don't have one. The one side sells clothes, luggage, shoes, jewelery, fabric, etc. Then there is a fresh produce section where prices fluctuate wildly between stalls. There are also stalls selling baked goods and lastly the hall where all the meats are sold. Quite noisy Check out the pic of the one 'promoter' He was having so much fun. He was competing with a guy in the 'stall' next door...
