Enrica Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 The 2008 RAC Channel Seven Christmas Pageant with the City of Perth is set to fill the streets of Perth with Christmas cheer on Sunday 7 December 2008. The Christmas Pageant is one of the largest free family events held in Perth and has been proudly supported by the RAC for more than ten years. The new format for the Christmas Pageant will see the location move from the busy city streets to Langley Park, where crowds will be able to enjoy the views from the Perth foreshore and surrounds. The time slot will also shift from Saturday evening to Sunday morning. This will make it easier for families to be involved, make better use of public transport and take advantage of Sunday trading in the city. The new format aims to provide more activities and entertainment before and after the pageant, creating a much greater opportunity for community involvement. Pageant Route: The pageant will start on Riverside Drive then continue along Victoria Avenue, Adelaide Terrace and Plain Street.
