Oracle / Unix dba

Recommended Posts

Hallo to All,

We are going on a LSD trip on the 24th of Nov and hubby wants to apply for jobs in the meantime. He is a oracle dba with lots of unix experience. Somebody last suggested that we try oracle in Aus, but we don't get the "career" part of their website. How do we contact them?

We are also applying on seek.com, but think it will be better if we can contact the employer.

Is there any other suggestions?

In which cities is IT the biggest? Sydney and Melbourne?

We will really appreciate your input.

Regards

Smitte

Hi,

Click on Careers, right at the bottom of the page, or try https://irecruitment.oracle.com

Rather phone them, and see if you can speak to the person in charge of professional services or whatever.

If you go onto seekit.com.au, and search for oracle or unix or oaracle and unix, you can click on each city, and see how many jobs are available in each

Hi Smittie,

Try Oracle Australia, also ASG (asggroup.com.au). They are both looking frantically for Oracle DBAs, esp if you have experience.

I am sure you'll find something!

Luckily for the smitte they got a visa and will be in Aus. that will make it easier.

Ive tried with all of them for a sponsorship but with no luck.
