BrentE
Could anyone possibly tell me what time the buses start running in the mornings? Hubby will be starting work at 6:30 and we have looked at maybe renting in Sunbury in the beginning. The trains leave there too late. Just working out whether he will need to take a car to work or if there is another option?Belinda
polly
Try Metlink Melbourne. They have all the details. You type in where you start and the time and where you want to get, then it shows you the routes and ways to travel.http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.auTrams specifically are at http://www.yarratrams.com.au

Trains might leave later, BUT busses take about twice as long, cos they have to sit in traffic and they stop very frequently. A trip to the shopping centre about 14kms from where we used to live took me bout 20 mins in the car (was quite a busy road), but in the bus it took almost 40 mins!!!! So just keep that in mind too.The link that Polly gave to Metlink is great... gives you timetables for busses and trains to and from the city.Good luck!!
