How long after medicals?

Hi guys - I know this was discussed previously, but blondie can not find it...... How long after your medicals should you start to worry if you haven't heard anything? Is there any way in which to find out if they did receive it and how long they'll still be? Are you allowed to contact them? If so - how??

Hi Riekie - you mail LCU@immi.gov.au, and you must put on the following info:-

• Name of Applicant:

• Date of Birth:

• Passport number:

• Visa Applied For:

• Date Medicals Dispatched:

• Method of Dispatch (Courier/Standard):

If sent by Courier please include:

• courier company name:

• tracking number :

• details of receipt date :

• name of person who signed for the package :

They will e-mail you back within 48 working hours.

Still had mine in my outbox I see ours left PTA on 23 August and I got a reply e-mail from the LCU people on 4 September to say 'all medicals have been received'. Then they load something on their systems and your assessor will pick it up a day or 2 later. We phoned our assesor at that point to 'jog her memory'. Hope it helps.

I got my PR visa 2 months after I went for my medicals and police clearance checks.
