Kicking off with a huge opening party on Friday night, the 2008 Fremantle Festival will include all your favourite events –- plus a few new ones!Be part of the Lotterywest Street Parade. Fremantle Festival The Fremantle Festival is a community festival celebrating Fremantle’s culture and the arts. The Fremantle Festival consists of events produced by the City of Fremantle in collaboration with local arts organisations and the community. Key events held on the Festival weekend include; Festival Opening Event Wardarnji Aboriginal Cultural Celebration Youth Event Lotterywest Street Parade & Carnival Bhangra Street Dance Party These festival events are a showcase of local talent and Fremantle culture through music, dance, theatre, film, fashion and community arts.
