NEED FRIENDS IN VIC.

HI EVERYONE

Even though my daughter has left S.A. on 12th August, I still visit the forum and

enjoy reading topics from everyone. I find if very interesting and helpful.

My daughter and her fiance are living in Reservoir, Victoria and I know she would

love to meet people who emigrated from S.A. They do feel lonely at times and

love to socialise. Just a little bit of background about them. She is 24 and her

fiance is 29 . Both are of Indian origin and both worked at the Hilton Hotel in

Durban before moving to Aussie. She has started work at the Hilton Hotel on Melbourne

Airport and her fiance is the Manager at the Restaurant near the Melbourne University.

They have settled in nicely but it would be fun if they could get together with other South Africans.

They do not have a computer as yet so cannot network and view your forums. I have introduced

my daughter to this forum already.

If anyone out there are closer to this part of Victoria and would love to meet them, please feel

free to reply and I will forward their details.

THANKS AND REGARDS TO EVERYONE

MURLEY

Hi Murley

Glad to hear that your daughter and her fiance are now in Australia. Did they decide against Brisbane?

Anyway unfortunately I can't help them find friends but there are quite a few nice people on the forum from VIC, hopefully they can help.

Good luck and I hope they make friends soon. B)

Hi Jules

Her Fiance's family lives in Brisbane and he stayed with them and worked for

Hilton Brisbane. He was offered a better paying job in Melbourne running the

Restaurant with a lot of perks and and he decided to make this move. He

feels it is more challenging and rewarding in his present job. They will be

visiting Brisbane quite often to see family members.

THANKS FOR YOU REPLYING.
