But I have 14 years Natural/Adabas programming experience and couldn't secure a position with that in a location of my choice. Luckily I made a technology change in 2005 which helped me to get in. ADABAS sites are mainly in Sydney and Canberra. In Canberra its mainly on government systems and you need citizenship to apply, no expections. A couple in Melbourne as well and very little in Brisbane and Adelaide. None in Perth though.ADABAS is not very big in Aus, but I found that many companies might be interested in your overall DBA skills and willing to train you in whatever DB they use. www.seekit.com.au is good for seeking Adabas IT jobs.
