SueB
I am hoping people who have been in Perth awhile can help. I would love suggestions for places we can go over the weekend? (Close enough that we could drive there Friday afternoon.) We took a drive through Jarrahdale yesterday and it was stunning!! (Forgot the camera at home , so no pics ) We are also happy to camp (yes, I know it's winter) so I would also like to know about good places to go camping.cheersSue

Enrica
Hi SueThe rule is in winter go north and summer go south. Problem is there are not that many great places north with a 2-3 hours driving distance. If you really dont want to go to far, Moore River (Guilderton) is nice. Nice views on the Moore River and very close to Perth ie about 90kms from you.Further north to the in Lancelin (as windy as !!!) and Jurien Bay and CervantesThen geraldton/greenough but thats far ....... wilma40
Hi SueIf you like wine you could consider Margeret River, about 300km south of perth. Lots of cheese tasting, look for the chocolate factory ans fudge factory. Lots of caves in the area to inspect. GreetingsWilma
