Eveline
Where is a good place (in Pretoria) to get the goodies essential for travel?Little neck pillows, ear plugs, luggage tags, luggage locks, etc.
Ing
Don't know about prices, but try an AA-shop, they are in Menlyn.Another tip: Buy long pieces of say 2 colours of 1cm wide ribbon (i.e. Red & Yellow). Then tie this tightly around your suitcase's handle. Let the case be bubble-wrapped at the airport (think it is R10 per piece). When you wait for your suitcase on the other side, there are lots of dark blue or black bubblewrapped cases - at least you will see your 'ribbons': easy identifying of your luggage.Good luck with all your arrangements. HansaPlease
Let the case be bubble-wrapped at the airport (think it is R10 per piece).Wow, not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but when I was at "OR Whatever it's called these days" Airport a month ago it was R35 a shot for plain cling wrap and R70 a metre for bubble wrap. Good tip about the ribbon though - they all look the same once they've been gift wrapped.
GSI
Is it really necessary to bubblewrap when going to Aus? Hubby and I backpacked Asia - 34 flights in 4 months - without bubblewrapping the backpacks and never had a thing stolen. Used little combination padlocks and never had a problem. Is it to do with the long haul flight or were we just lucky last time!?GSI
Eveline
Uhm.... shouldn't that be Clingwrap? Not that I would know, last time I flew abroad there was no such option!
