Guest Karla
hi thereWe are not using an agent for our independent skilled migration visa and would like to know if there is any advice anyone can give us in terms of "common mistakes" made on the application or on additional info (employers reference etc). I believe our case is pretty straight forward. My occupation is on the MODL and my points exceed the minimum mark. I would like to know if someone with sufficient points's application was turned down and why?Thanx
JJV
Hi KarlaThe general consensus is that the following 3 aspects could cause hick-ups:Skills assessmentEmployer references (to prove recent/specific work experience) &MedicalsLots of people have done their applications successfully without the help of agents. Just read the requirements carefully and you should not have any problems. Go for it, especially if you do have a couple of points to play with.Regards
