Markets in Brisbane

We are back from our LSD and it look like we will settle in Brisbane.

I found a fresh produce market in Melbourne (Queen Victoria Market).

Is there something like that in Brisbane or do you buy your fresh produce somewhere else?

I saw some farm stalls next to the highway on route to Toowoomba.

Gidday Lewe,The main Fruit and Veg market is on Sherwood Rd at Rocklea,witch is on the south side of Brisbane.There are quite a few fruit and veg markets around and the cheapest places are the local markets that are held on the weekends.I use the latter as fruit and veg is becoming quite exspensive.I hope this is helpful to you.

New Farm Park, North of the River, 4kms from the city abouts... has a lovely and well talked about fresh fruit market every 2nd saturday of the month, its also a treat as it is right on the river and at the lovely park, so you can combine a picnic in the park on that day if you're travelling in...

WOW, sounds wonderful Dee.

We are so used to the "Boeremark" in Pretoria and it became a part of our routine to buy our fresh produce their.

It became a outing with some coffee and "pannekoek" or "jafels".

We will be moving to the South East.

Any markets in Eight Mile Plains, Mansfield or Rochedale area?

If not we will definitely travel north.
