Madelein
You have to phone the South African Consulate in Canberra to Mail the form for police clearance to youPh: 02 6273 2424 - they are very helpfull and will explain the process to you. Then you have to go to your local Policestation to get fingerprints - $40 per person. The best is to mail it to a friend/family with a bank cheque (make sure it is not Citi Bank - ask your local branch at the bank as most of the banks work internationally with Citi Bank). Let your friend or family courier it to Pretoria and back and be send to you. This will take about a month to get back to you when you do it this way.Police Clearance is only valid for 9 months from issued date in Australia.RegardsMadelein
