Joeemm Posted July 24, 2006 Report Share Posted July 24, 2006 Hi AllI'm glad my last post prompted such a lot of chatter :-) I'm pleased to report that I have found a job :-) pay is significantly better than what I was earning in SA, so I'm smiling. although I have only been in the job for 1 week, so still very slow going. So far I like the people I'm working with and the job itself looks like it will be very challenging.I also hooked up with an old friend from SA who's been here a few years already so that's really nice. So far all the family has been from my wife's side. Also, we've got to know our neighours on the one side I recon a good step into settling in.
