Below are few shots I took during the weekend, with the brand new Queen Victoria cruise liner visiting for 2 days...Sydney harbour with full moon:The Queen Victoria at Circular Quay:Sydney Opera House:Royal Botanical Gardens:In front of the Opera House looking towards Circular Quay, with Queen Victoria in the background:The 90,000 tonne ship holds 2000 passengers and 1000 crew. Built at a cost of 390 million euros, it is 294m long, 54m high and 36m wide. The QV is powered by a 63.4 megawatt Sulzer ZA40 diesel plant and has a maximum speed of 23.7 knots (44 km/h). Bob Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 I was really impressed with the quality of those shots of Sydney Harbour in night light.They've managed to come out extraordinarily well with the light settings.The moon over the Harbour is in good detail.Now . . . . when is the Queen Vic going to sail up the River Torrens in Adelaide and pull up at the Festival Theatre, next to "Popeye"?
