For all those who are waiting to hear God's voice

Hi everyone

I just wanted to encourage all those of us who are waiting on the Lord for some sort of answer. Maybe you don't know IF you should go. Maybe you don't know WHERE you should go. Maybe you have tired of waiting for your Visa, or whatever it may be.

Is 30:21

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, " This is the way;walk in it"

Acts 17:26b

"..and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live"

Here's some of the verses as they appear in The Message :Is 30:18-23

1. "your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me" - just chill, God will work out the path for you and your family

2. "....your time of tears is over. Cry for help and you'll find its grace and more grace. The moment he hears, he'll answer........urging you on whenever you wander left or right ,(saying) "this is the right road. Walk down this road"

3. "God will provide rain for the seeds you sow. The grain that grows will be abundant. Your cattle will range far and wide. '

As long as you are turning to the left or the right (knock on doors to see if they open) God will answer you and say 'yes' this is the road or you will have absolutely no peace about it.

Don't worry about all the details, like where you will work and stay. He has planned it all. Acts 17:26b.

Remember to sow seeds, if you want God to give you a crop!

Hi Godan,

Ek hoor wat jy se en het ook al baie daaraan gedink. Ek het nie mooi Bybel versies wat ek vir jou kan aanhaal nie maar ek het al uit ondervinding, en dis maar net my eie opinie, dat wanneer mens so sukkel en niks loop soos dit moet nie, dan is dit heel moontlik nie die regte pad of die regte tyd nie. Wanner ons die Here se goedkeuring het en ons sy pad volg dan werk dinge net uit.

Dis nie te se dat mens nooit moeilike tye gaan he nie want ons moet ook deur toetse en moeilike tye gaan om ons te laat groei en sterker te maak.

Ek het ook gevind dat ek beter en makliker besluite kan maak wanneer ek naby aan God lewe. Ek vind dat wanneer ek verward en deurmekaar rondhol en nie weet watter kant toe nie, dan is dit nie God nie, en moet ek net eers stil en rustig raak en glo. Want al sou die Here met my praat wanneer ek in daai toestand is sou ek Hom tien teen een nie eers kan hoor nie :-)

Ek dink dat God beloon geloof, kinderlike geloof. Dis baie moeilik maar wanneer mens op die punt kom wat jy kan se, nou worry ek nie meer nie, maar doen net my bes en alles sal uitwerk soos God dit beplan, dan het mens "peace and joy". Dis wat die koningkryk van God is - Righteousness and Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit

Op die ou einde maak dit nie rerig saam waar jy gaan of watse belsuit jy geneem het nie, maar dat jy die teenwoordigheid van die Here en die Heilige Gees in jou lewe het, want dan is jy die koningkryk van God.

Ek het regtig vanoggend hierdie pitkos nodig gehad - het juis net vanoggend vir God gevra om my uit te help waar my geloof my in die steek laat en my ongeloof te hulp te kom!

hi there Legalbuff, Michelle and Cindy and all the other Christians reading this post

The Is 30 message was a Rhema word that the Lord gave to me for myself. The Lord challenged me to keep my eyes on Him and not on what i want him to do for me. I've decided to spend the next 2 weeks in meditation on Him and His kingdom and to think as little as possible about our move to Aus in this time. Almost like a fast.

I would like desperately to ask for your prayers. I've been under enormous spiritual attack for the past 3 weeks. Two weeks ago after a prayer meeting where i had a mighty encounter with the Holy Spirit, i had an accident in the car park and fell and 4 vertebrae popped out. Yesterday, my husband and i both heard seperately from the Lord about an amount (nie klein nie!) that we had to sow into our churches building fund. We both got exactly the same amount. Within an our i hurt myself again and vertebrae nr 5 popped out.

I am in so much pain i can hardly remember my name. But i'm sticking to my guns and i'm blessing the Lord. I've been to a chiro and the problem will eventually sort itself out. It's just that in the mean while i battle to take care of my family.

"Let the peace of God rule in your hearts" not sure of the chapter and verse..will look it up and post later. But I heard John Mc Arthur on the radio teaching about this and He compared this verse to a baseball match. The Holy Spirit is like the umpire and He gives us His perfect peace in our hearts or otherwise we do not feel comfortable with a decision, thought or action.

We had no intention of ever going to Aus of all places but I believe the Lord has led us to lodge an application and if it indeed is His will then the doors will open. Simple. If not back to the drawing board and praying about going to the UK where the door is already open for us (thankfully).

Karen - will be praying for you, I know to a degree what it is like to be in acute physical pain where you can't move a limb in this case, probably hardly at all. Why don't you also go to the elders in your church and ask them to annoint you with oil and pray as the scriptures tell us to do. Shame, will pray for you too.

Ek wou vroeer al post, maar speel nou eers weer rond op die forum. Dis nie om te preek nie, maar jou vraag te beantwoord met ons voorbeeld.

Vir ons is dit 'n lewenstyl. Ons neem geen groot besluite sonder om God se OK te kry nie, en die skuif na Oz is definitief so belsuit. Ek het al vir 3 jaar in my hart gevoel dat ons moet gaan, maar het vir God gese hy moet met my vrou werk, sy moet self hoor. Teen die einde van Mei 07 het God met haar begin praat en het ek ook geweet dat dit Sy tyd vir ons is. Die tyd is ook belangrik, net soos wat die Israeliete moes kyk wanneer die wolk begin beweeg het.

Daar is verskeie maniere hoe God met ons praat, maar ons grootste toets is om met vrede in die hart iets te kan uitvoer. Dis nie 'n vrede wat deur 'n self-oortuigte of verharde hart kom nie, maar juis een wat oop is vir die Heilige Gees om sy weg te he.

Daar is so sekuriteit daaraan om te weet jy is in Sy wil, dan maak die probleme nie so erg saak nie. Dis die twyfel wat mens soos 'n kanker opvreet.

Moenie onder druk wees oor wat ander se nie, dis nie altyd 'thunder and lightning' as God praat nie. Soms is daar ook die konsep van "..it seemed good to us and the Holy Spirit..." Acts 15:28 (Handelinge). Gee die Heilige gees die kans om vrede in jou hart te bring, al maak jy self die besluite.

Ek beskou dit nie as 'n preek nie, dankie vir die inspirerende woorde. Ek kan baie leer daaruit.

Soms het ek 'n preek nodig.

Ek verloor soms perspektief en dan werk ek myself op en verknies myself oor dinge. Daarom is die beste ding om met mense te kan praat. Eintlik moet ek maar net myself herinner aan die positiewe dinge wat in my lewe gebeur het. Ek het 'n bietjie van 'n harde tyd gehad toe ek 20 maande sonder werk gesit het, maar nou begin dinge in plek val: as ek nie my werk verloor het nie, sou ek nie 'n kursus gedoen het wat my loopbaan verander het nie. Dan sou my beroep nie op MODL gewees het nie. Nou kan ek genoeg punte kry vir PR - kon nie voorheen nie. Ek verstaan nog steeds nie hoekom my broer in 2004 vermoor is nie (tipiese plaasmoord), maar dalk was dit die gebeurtenis wat my aan die gang gekry het om te immigreer.

Ons almal gaan deur tye waar ons ander nodig het om te help om ins arms op te hou vir oorwinning!

Net soos ons nie nat voel as ons aan 'n swembad dink nie, maar nog steeds weet dat die water nat is, so kan jy weet dat "His love endures forever", al voel mens dit nie elke oomblik nie. Hy is faithful en sal alles laat uitwerk op die einde!

Niks is ooit buite God se beheer nie, en Hy sit nie en panic oor wat om nou in jou lewe te doen nie. Inteendeel, Hy het alles 100% beplan, al sluit dit in om satan se aktiwiteite te gebruik om iets in jou lewe te bereik.

Regtig jammer om te hoor van jou broer.

Thanks so much for this, it's exactly what I needed. (I actually had replied to this post before, but my pc died before I clicked on Add Reply )

It has extra special meaning for me that you posted this on the day of my StepMom's funeral.

We are battling more with where and when rather than if. "If" was supplied by God in Genesis 12. My husband and I read it at exactly (to the minute) the same time but we weren't in the same place at the time. God just got us to open to the same verse together through diferent methods. (Gen 12:1-4 The LORD said to Abram: "Go forth from the land of your kinsfolk and from your father's house to a land that I will show you. "I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. All the communities of the earth shall find blessing in you." Abram went as the LORD directed him, and Lot went with him. )

So awesome to hear how God has spoken to other people. It always encourages me.

You know what? My experience is this: when you are driving in a car the person who gives directions will tell you when to turn left or right, otherwise you just keep on going straight. Obviously, you have ears to hear. When God has something (especially something as big as uprooting your whole life!) to say, he will say it and you will hear it. Until he does, just camp out (in the desert, until the cloud moves on) and chill.

Now, all i have to do is take my own advice......

My naam is Nina en wil ek julle graag encourage vanoggend.

Toe my man vir my se dat hy oorweeg om te immigreer was ek baie benoud. Wat wil die Here he, dit gaan so goed met ons hier en wil ek nie graag Sy blessings mis deur om uit Sy wil uit te beweeg nie.

Ons het baie gebid en 'n Pastoors vriend van ons het vir ons gese dat GEWOONLIK is daai brandende begeerte in jou hart - die wil van God - nie die begeertes om 'n paar miljoen rand te he en in 'n smart huis te woon nie. Maar daardie begeertes wat diep in jou siel is wat 'n verskil kan maak in jou lewe en in ander mense se lewens.

Ek het vir skrif gevra en die Here het laas jaar vir my toe die skrif gegee :

Rev 3:7 - If God OPENS a door NO ONE can shut it and if God CLOSES a door NO ONE can open it, LOOK i have place before you, an OPEN DOOR!!!!

Dit was redelike bevestiging vir ons en het ons begin bid dat Jesus deure oop en toe sal maak en sodoende sal weet wat ons moet doen.

Alles het tyd gevat, daar was terug slae, maar skuulik het dinge in plek begin val,

En op 'n dag se ek vir my man die is so 'n groot besluit, die Here het ons nou al so ver gelei, maar ek vra nog vir 1 bevestiging.

Ons oudste seun 7jaar oud - kom toe na my man toe en se "pappa ek het 'n bybel versie vir jou - jy moet Josua 1 gaa lees - en dit se Be STRONG and COURAGES, Be STRONG AND VERY COURAGES....

Wel 2weke later wat dan nou Woensdag die 5de Maart was - is ons visas goedgekeur!!!! Loof die Here!!!!

Nou moet nog net die huis verkoop, en waanneer ons benoud raak dan herrinner ek myself net DAT GOD WEET!!!! wanneer, waar en hoe - en soos Joshua 1 se "I will never leave you or forsake you"!!!!

Het so pas jou Feb 25 'post' gelees en so lekker binne-pret lag gekry. Maar wag laat ek by die begin begin. Dupi en ek is al hier in die vroeë 50's. Verlede jaar het Vader met ons begin praat oor Aus, ek het aanvanklik nie geweet hoe om met Dupi te praat nie, want NOOIT gedink dat hy dit sal oorweeg nie, maar God is Getrou toe ek en hy begin gesels het die Gees reeds met albei van ons vaardig geraak.

Ek het vir my dogter se vriendin wat in Aus woon ge-email en gevra om nie met my dogter te praat alvorens ek nie self met haar gesels het nie, wou haar nie vanuit 'n ander oord hoor dat ons Aus oorweeg nie. V.din het toe vir my mooi gevra om tog met Nina te praat (dit nou die rede vir die binne-pret, want sien toe op diue forum dat jy en Nina nou reeds kennis gemaak het). Awesome, soos wat God is, toe ons begin deel het ons ontdek dat ons beide dieselfde planne het. Nou-ja soos jy uit haar getuienis hoor is hul visums goedgekeur en weet ek dat die huis verkoop 'n blote formaliteit is, en is ek geensins hartseer nie, net opgewonde, want ek weet wat ek weet.

Nou, om terug te keer na ons, die sogenaamde 'realiteit' is dat ons nie babas is nie ens ens ens. Maar voordat ons nog kennis gehad het, het ons geweet dat ons met sponsorship moet oorgaan, so het ek intussen kom leer van visa 457, soveel 'realistiese' mense het nou al gesê dit sal nie realiseer nie want ons ouderdom en Dupi se beroep (sou ons sponsorship kry)is nou nie so gespesialiseerd dat ons sponsorship sal kry nie, maar ek verseker jou - GODS WORD SAYS IT, I BELIEVE IT AND THAT SETTLES IT FOR ME. - Ons staan juis op die Woord, dat ons brandende begeerte voor Vader is om na Austr te gaan kom van Hom wat dit in ons harte kom lê het, so ons weet dat ons gereed moet wees, want Sy Belofte aan ons was dat Hy Groot en Ondeurgrondelike Wonderwerk vir ons gaan doen.

Dupi is in die Veiligheid, nie sekuriteit nie, hy is SHEQT (Safety Health Environmental Quality & Training) Advisor met die wonderlikste ondervinding, 'expertise' ens en ons WEET WAT ONS WEET, so dit maak ons opgewonde.

Ekself was by gemeenskap werk betrokke en is 'n "grief councelor" van Hospice (het inteendeel saam met 'n vriendin die Hospice in Rustenburg begin), hoewel ek nie meer aktief betrokke is verhinder niks my om daarmee aan te gaan nie, maar wil ook verseker weet dat dit Vader se Wil is, so ek weet dat ons 'n verskil gaan maak en raak net meer opgewonde.

Ek sê dankie vir die Woord wat jy dan daar geplaas het want dit het my net weer bevestig dat ons op die regte pad is.

Thank you for this post. It is very encouraging. It is so exciting to be lead by the Lord. The Lord said to us “go to Melbourneâ€. (Quite some time ago already, the thought of immigrating hadn’t crossed our mind at that point) He also confirmed it a number of times. So we are going. I don’t know what for exactly, all I know is that we must go. (He also needs to supply the finance to go. That will be the final conformation and indication of the timing) I believe He will show us once we have arrived.

It seems that we are a little ahead of you in the process.

We lodged a 136 skilled visa on 16th Aug 07.

We have a case officer and according to her the only thing outstanding is a Ielts results. (I went to Harare on the 8th of March to do the Ielts test)

Tres, I noticed you sent transcripts from the university, re your English ability. The Australian government is very strict and adheres to the letter of the Law. (I also sent such documentation in, but it was not accepted) Unless you are holder of a UK, Canadian, New Zealand or USA passport you are deemed not to be proficient in English, and need to do an Ielts test. There is a huge backlog and the next available booking was in June in South Africa. (I believe they are trying to introduce more, but nothing is definite yet) Don’t let this minor technicality slow down the process.

Can you explain this a little bit more? No bad intent from my side, it is just something that i have been thinking about for a while - how did God talk to you and did you get this precise message?
