milo Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) Hier's 'n resep vir Ystervarkies of Lamingtons. Ek onthou my ma het hierdie koek gebak toe ek nog haasbek was. Nou bak ek dit ook gereeld vir partytjies.Ystervarkies1 1/2 kop koekmeel1 1/2 kop suiker4 1/2 eetl mielieblom3 t bakpoeier6 eiers (geskei)3/4 kop kookwater1/4 kop olie1 t vanillaSif droë bestanddele saam.Klop eiergele tot skuimerig. Voeg kookwater en olie by. Meng alles liggies saam.Voeg dan by droë bestanddele.Voeg essence by, dan styfgeklopte eierwitte.Gooi mengsel in gesmeerde oondpan en bak by 180ºC vir 20-30min. (hang af van jou oond)Laat afkoel en sny in blokkies.Doop in sjokolade sous en rol dan in klapper.Sjokolade-sous3 kop suiker1 1/2 kop kookwater4 E kakao4 E botter/margarineKook alles saam oor medium hitte tot die suiker gesmelt is. Then it has like a Ganache/Chocolate layer on the top and its sliced. You then sprinkle chocolate bits on top of that.They are absolutely devine!!!!! Dis gebreekte tennis biscuits, gemeng met 'n choc mixture en glazed cherries en nog iets. Enrica Posted March 20, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 I eventually got a recipe from one of the ladies in our book club.Absolutly no baking!!!I made then a few days ago, they are absolutly devine and did not last 2 days in our house.CELIA'S HEDGEHOGS1 PAN APPROX 23 X 23 CMS lined with glad wrap1 and half packets Marie Biscuits or Arrowroot biscuits(crushed)2 extra large eggs beaten1 cup sugar1 teaspoon vanilla250grms butter2 tablespoons cocoaMelt the butter and sugar in a pan, and the eggs that have been beaten with the cocoa.DO NOT BOIL , stir all together over a low heat for 3 mins.Pour over the biscuit and mix well together to coat.Tip into the pan and flatten well with a spoon.Spread with the icing and leave overnioght to set.Then cut into slices- the sizes of your choice.Icing300 grms choclate70 grms butter100 mls thickended creamMelt the chocolate and butter and the cream and spead over the Hedgehog in the pan.
