estellec
Hi allnew to the forum, and just getting started with the loong process. Hubby is in the life assurance industry, of which the hub appears to be in Sydney. Is there anyone out there that also works in this field, and can give us an indication of how the assurance industry is similar or different to South Africa (compared with the Sanlam's, Old Mutual's etc.). Who are potential employers in this field?
Jordy
Hi and welcome to the forum. You might get a better response if you start off in the foyer. I never look in this thread, as neither do others. But lots of people look in the foyer.Jordy
woodag
I am no authority on life assurance, but since nobody else has said anything...I have always equated AMP here with Old Mutual in SA. AMP = Australian Mutual Provident, but like Old Mutual, it is no longer a mutual company.Other names that come to mind are:AXA, MLC, Zurich, Tower, ING, and Suncorp, Most of the big banks also have life assurance divisions.
