Tobold
Hello and welcome! Congratulations, as Nats says, on both your marriage and your decision. We are also applying for the visa later in the year (hopefully May), as we need my skills assessment, the IELTS test, and documents from Home Affairs before we can submit. I think we'll feel much better when the visa application is submitted. Until then, it feels like we haven't really got started yet. All the best, Mark

TereMel
Hi MEL$,Welcome to the forum - probably THE site that you will visit more than any other during your whole process of visa application and moving! And at least the people here read your mails, respond to you, and are just generally very helpful and kind. I suspect that we will be lodging our DIAC application online in the last week of May; last thing that we'll be waiting for - IELTS English test. Have you done / booked yours yet?All of the best, From another Mel,TereMel
Milada (Ms Maritz)
Welcome! As TereMel said, book your IELTS.... there is a long waiting list! And then also apply for your unabridged birth certificates and marriage certificates.... the Department of home Affairs is in no hurry to submit those documents!
