Hallo julle!

Seems like everyone is itching for a get together in the JHB area.

Horwoods Farm in Edenvale seems to be the ideal place. This time we'll do a picnic. There are braai facilities or bring a quick meal along. If you wish to braai - remember some charcoal.

Here goes -

Horwoods Farm, Edenvale

Sunday, 16 March from 12h00

Bring the kid's bikes/scooter/skateboards/rollerblades along if you wish, there are cycling tracks all through the park. Plenty of room to run wild or even play some soccer or cricket. Enough jungle gyms to occupy a nursery school!

I'll try and organise a flag or banner of some kind to point us out in the park.

Please check on a previous JHB Coffee club thread for the directions to the venue.

Hope to meet some new faces there.

Hallo julle!

Jammer ek was so stil die afgelope paar dae. Besig, besig, besig. Maar kan nie eintlik sê waarmee nie. As jy jou kop neerlê in die aand, dan is jy doodmoeg maar weet nie wat het jou so besig gehou nie.

The picnic day is getting closer and my kids are very excited. Please remember to bring some chairs, or if you prefer a picnic blanket. Also don't forget the charcoal if you would like to braai. The engelsman says we'll do a braai. 'Cause in Aus it will be on gas, and we need to do all the proper 'braaing' we can, while still here!!

Look out for a navy blue gazebo with an Australian flag. Maybe get a boombox to play Waltzing Matilda so all can find us?!

Thanks for all the offers to help, but it's basically a bring, eat and make some friends day. If the company is good, then all is well!

See you all then. Please ask if there's anything else you'd like to know.

Hi Milo

Never been to the venue, can the boys bring a few beers? And any entrance fees?

Thanks

Hallo julle,

There's no entrance fee.

Definately bring the beers!!!! and the kid's bicycles.

As you enter the gates, there will be a seperate entrance to the restaurant. Bypass it.

Go through the main gates, around the circle (round-about) and onto the dirt road. There you'll find plenty of parking.

Look out for the blue gazebo with the Ozzie flag!!!

Oh  Oh

I think I got myself into something here..

Have I posted my work experience in regards to child minding?

For in case you cant find it, here it is

My experience:

I know nothing about children

I have red hair

I tend to be a BIT tooo strict

References/Quotes from my little cousins:

She scares us and even sometimes our parents..

She would have given Hitler a go for his money with her Militant style..

Soo, if you still feel that I have the qualities you need, keep an eye out for the Militant redhead  ..

Ghie ghie ghie

See ya there
