Hy is 'n "electronic metrologist" en ek is 'n eks soldaat wat tydens die soldaat dae LLB geswot het. Maak die graad nou Mei 2008 klaar, so ek weet nie eintlik wat ek is nie - Ha-ha. My bokkie is 39 jaar oud, ek is 31 en ons het ongelukkig nog nie "kiddies" nie. Ons is 16 Jan 08 nege jaar getroud. Lovey is eintlik Engels en ek is Afrikaans....dis ons in 'n "nutshell".Vanaf +-Maart 2007 lees ons julle oulik forum al, maar ons het nooit saam gesels of boodskappies gelos nie aangesien ons toe maar nog vroeg in die immigrasie proses was. Nou begin dinge stadig maar seker gebeur, so, hier is ons. Dis wonderlik om uiteindelik deel van die forum te wees.Eerstens moet ek vertel hoe julle almal, sonder jul wete, my gehelp het met die administrasie van ons immigrasie proses. My bokkie het gese ons kan gaan bly net waar ek wil in Aus en hy sal in Pick & Pay werk as hy moet, solank ek al die admin vir die ding doen.....my man en admin is nie maatjies nie!Ek kan nie verduidelik hoeveel male ek net nie meer geweet het wat om volgende te doen nie.....en dan gaan ek op saaustralia.org!! ja, en sonder moeite, is die probleem dan sommer vinnig opgelos. Voorbeelde: TRA application, courier services, unabridged birth certificates, LSD trips ens.Meestal van ons admin het ek noual gedoen, behalwe vir die engelse toets en medies. Ons vlieg nou 24 Jan 08 na Perth, dan na Brisbane, Auckland(nz) en laastens Sydney (LSD Trip). Ons altwee is verskriklik opgewonde om uiteindelik fisies te sien dit wat ons so baie oor gelees het. (Terloops, dankie vir die tip op jul site tov wat die beste tyd is vir 'n LSD trip...ons het amper 'n groot bloutjie geloop...julle almal het ons gered!)Ons gaan tydens ons reis fokus op werk soek, "cost of living" ens. Ons het tans net verblyf vir ons tydperk in Perth, so ek sal so deur die maand vir voorstelle op die site kyk tov verblyf in Brisbane en Sydney.ok, belowe dat die volgende boodskappe nie so lank sal wees nie. They've been there for about 4 months and says that they are totally happy....main reason being the safety & freedom of their kids. They demanded that we work a "side visit" in. We were best,best,best mates for +-14 years and then our paths had to seperate!!...but i'm sure you all have horid stories like that....leaving friends and family behind! Live is such a funny thing....once a year my old friend and I use to get together and reflect on things that happened to us during that year. We would discuss each topic at length...how bad or good was each major "happening"(on a scale of 1-10)?, how did we initially react to it?, how did we handle it and could we maybe have handled it better?,and lastly, should we ever be faced with the same kind of thing again, how would we react?, etc. Then we would decide which, out of the different live experiences, made the biggest impact on both our general and personal lives.....and agree/conclude that THIS YEAR must surely have been THE year that we have learned the most, or faced the "tuffest" personal things ever!, etc, etc.....but what's the irony...the next year....after our annual discussion , the same little sentence would always pop up again....THIS YEAR must surely have been THE year that we have learned the most, or faced the 'tuffest" personal things ever.........and so on, and so on, and so on...So, we decide to start laughing at our ignorance and promised each other that which ever one finds a packet of wisdom for sale first....and on special...(its a women thing)...., would buy two...and share!!!So, to all out there, I dare say:Good luck with 2008, take it as it comes...step for step, day by day and may you be blessed with wisdom and receive all the love you deserve.One of my favourite quotes: "What lies behind us and what lies before us is NOTHING compared to what lies WITHIN us!"Cheers for now,BibiThanks for the tip NorCalAussie, we will definitely check it out.
