If you travel interstate in Australia, there are still some things which are not allowed to be taken with you - and severe fines to go with it! chatterbug Posted July 5, 2006 Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 Thanks Riekie, One tends to forget this, but it could become a bit confusing and difficult to enforce when say traveling by car from Qld to NSW as we do quite regularly, especially in SE Qld with the border quite close to us. Coming back from shopping in a nearby town (Wagga Wagga) I was once stopped and searched at a deserted stretch or road, and the fines are severe. So we just buy where we are...
