Most of you may know this. If you travel interstate in Australia, there are still some things which are not allowed to be taken with you - and severe fines to go with it! I found this schedule some time ago and have used it a number of times myself - thought I'd share it.

One tends to forget this, but it could become a bit confusing and difficult to enforce when say traveling by car from Qld to NSW as we do quite regularly, especially in SE Qld with the border quite close to us. E.g. travelling with fruit as we often do seems to be a problem!

Anyway interesting!

To make life easier for ourselves, our household rule is, no fruit or veggies when youre travelling. Coming back from shopping in a nearby town (Wagga Wagga) I was once stopped and searched at a deserted stretch or road, and the fines are severe. So we just buy where we are...
