Question

Hey guys. Hope this hasn't been asked a million times and I just couldn't find it. I've just received a sponsorship offer on a livestock/agricultural farm. Im currently on my 3rd whv 417 visa but am looking to stay in Australia forever. 1.)Would this be able to lead me to a PR and how long would this take? 2.)what are my risks? 3.) Is the 482 visa the best option here?

The SC417 visa is a Working Holiday Visa there is no specific pathway from this visa to PR - you would need to be eligible to apply for a different visa.

With the SC482 - whether there is a potential pathway to permanent residence will depend upon a number of factors e.g. the occupation selected (STSOL/MLTSSL) and/or circumstances.

You might also look at eligibility for an independent PR visa based on your occupations / qualifications / experience.
