Hi,

Thanks for the update. Do you have any idea of the processing time for the work visas?

My wife's occupation is now part of the list namely external auditing.  Her company has already reached out to her.

We started the application then the dreaded 'C' started. We only got as far as getting our police cleareance which arrived in June'20. Will they still be valid?

One last question. Can one apply for employer sponsored permanent residency visas through the PMSOL?

If on the Priority List the 186/482 visas can move very quickly - e.g. weeks.  The 186 is the Employer Nominated PR visa.

Police Clearances are generally only valid for 12 months.

Good luck I hope it moves swiftly for you.

The new occupations are (including ANZSCO codes):

  • Hospital Pharmacist (251511)
  • Retail Pharmacist (251513)
  • Industrial Pharmacist (251512)

Source: The three occupations of Hospital Pharmacist (251511), Industrial Pharmacist (251512) and Retail Pharmacist (251513) have been added to the PMSOL

This brings the PMSOL list to 44 occupations.
