Carole Posted May 13, 2021 Report Share Posted May 13, 2021 Hi, after applying for our 143 Visa in July 2018 and hearing nothing further- we have just received a request from Home Affairs for more information (form 54). We are very thrilled to know that things are still happening after such a long silence. Does anyone know what the next steps will be in the process and possible timeframe. SD_MOA Posted May 26, 2021 Report Share Posted May 26, 2021 Hello Carole, DHA must be doing an initial review of your application and need more information re your family composition. Once you provide this if DHA are happy with the content it is likely you will not hear from them for another couple of years I am afraid. DHA are currently assessing SC143 application lodged in May 2016 (they have been stuck on May 2016 for the last 6 months). You can check this here. I hope this helps.
