KatieW
Hi there! This sounds like a silly question, but I was wondering if there is anything similar to Tashas Freezos available in Sydney? I've been looking for around for a while and the ice coffees here are either made with a scoop of ice cream or it's just cold coffee with ice cubes. I'm at the point where I'm thinking of just bringing some packets from home next time I go back 😅
ChrisH
Is it like a frappe? Thats from their Australian website, keep a lookout for frappes as its pretty much crushed ice with a flavour like espresso or mocha put through a blender - they just don't refer to the brand name of flavouring they use here. KatieW
Thanks Chris! I have tried the frappes in some cafes (from big brands like Starbucks to smaller independent cafes) and they're not quite the same as the Freezos in SA - I think they're a little too watery and not quite there with flavour. I might just be overly picky - I will keep a look out and let you know what I'm able to find
ChrisH
You'll probably find that it has way less sugar in them compared to the South African variants. I remember when we just got here our aussie mates used to comment on how sweet/salty all our foods are. They now refer to boerewors as the salty sausage.
