My man is 'n "Specialist Instrument Mechanic" met 17 jaar ondervinding, hy is 38jaar oud.Ons agent soek nou al so 3 maande vir ons werk maar sê die probleem is dat hulle in Aus 'n dual trade soek (instrumentation/electrical). Soos my man se as jy kan bewys dat jy ëxperience (genoeg) het dan kan jy daarvoor krediet kry. As julle wil PM my dan sal my man jou man help.Dan kan julle ook op die net na Seek en Career one gaan kyk. Doen vir alles aansoek moet nie uitsoekerig wees nie. Iewers sal iemand hom iets aan bied. Hulle belowe baie, vat jou geld en doen maar min en intussen stres mens geweldig.Ignoreer beslis die feit dat die websites noem jy moet eers 'n werksvisa he om te kan aansoek doen. Teiken ook werkgewers direk op websites. Almal van hulle het afdelings vir werksoekers en sal julle gou kontak as hulle belangstel. Ek glo julle sal regkom. I have applied for about 100 jobs. 20% of them came back negatively with not being in Australia and all that but i do have a delete button on Outlook.It can be done.Ignorance can be wonderful sometimes!!!! Dis tog ook so dat mens net in jouself wil beging wonder en dan gebeur die wonderwerk.Doen voor die voet aansoek!!!! Selfs al voel jou man hy is nie 100% gepas vir die werk nie 80% will do!!Stuur en stuur en stuur. O, ja voor ek vergeet probeer verskillende woorde ens in die seek website, bv. Ek weet ons soek nog net vir drie maande maar dit voel soos drie jaar, mens begin later wonder of dit ooit gaan gebeur.Monica, ons eerste keuse was ook Brisbane (enige plek met beter weer as Secunda ) maar ons sal gaan waar ons werk kry.Nou moet ek eers gaan werk soek! Even though I am able to sponsor him he still wants to try and do this on his own. I have been told that he should get a job easily on the mines and they are paying well. I was also told that they only need 70 points to qualify if they want to work in the regional areas and some are getting their PR processed from time of application to in hand (10 working days!!) They are apparently very short of workers for the mining towns. They are also opening a lot of new mines in the Queensland area and areas like Emerald etc are not too far from Brisbane. Toe ons begin rondvra het, het hulle ook vir ons gese ons sal sommer maklik werk kry maar ons wag nogsteeds. Miskien wag net die regte werk vir ons iewers. Ek stel ook voor dat mens moet se hoekom jy vir die job gepas sal wees en hoekom dit tot die company se voordeel sal wees om jou te employ.Hoe daai vir two taled! It is a way of introducing yourself to the employer and “selling yourself” . I don’t know of anyone that were successful by just sending a copy of their Resume / Curriculum Vitae without a Cover Letter. Ek het net ons tel, adres ens. ingesit en gese ons doen aansoek vir werk so en so, laat weet my as julle meer inligting soek. Hulle werk vir ander mense ook, julle werk net vir julle self!Gaan aan en apply apply apply. Gladstone is so 600km noord van Brisbane. Jan het ook genoem dat hy al verskeie beskikbare poste in Toowoomba, 100km wes van Brisbane opgemerk het. Die forum is ongelooflik, ek het regtig gedink ‘n Covering Letter is net jou kontakbesonderhede, dankie dat julle dit opgeklaar het. Geen wonder arme ou Jan kry nie werk nie!Wilma, miskien moet met mekaar in verbinding tree, dan kan ons mekaar dalk van hulp wees.
