We have received an invitation to apply for SC491 visa, sponsored by QLD. We have an uncle (citizen) who is willing to sponsor us for the SC 491 family stream visa. All thanks to our family member, we have the following waiting for us: Job for hubby (in his trade, Flexi hours, decent salary) Housing Cars but.... The uncle (and all above mentioned "benefits"), are based in Perth, WA. Due to all the above, we (obviously) had our hearts set on getting the invitation for the 491 Family stream. Are we being irrational. I know many of you have managed to get to Oz with far less than we were hoping for. We have not done any research about any other City/State in Australia, and have no idea what to expect. Ae we looking a gift horse in the mouth, or should we try hold out for the 491 family stream? We had our hearts set on Brisbane while we were in South Africa, but then came to Perth for a look see and decide trip. 9 years later we are still in Perth and wouldn't change it for the world....
