Jordy
Received an email from consumerforeigntax@fnb.co.za. The email was basically a series of pictures with no text, and only pictures. There was an attachment which is below. Everything about the email fits in with a scam, but the members on mybroadband.co.za seem to think it is legit. Can anyone shed any light on it? Mara
Hi Jordy, cannot tell you whether this is a scam or not, but I do know that both hubby and I have to do the FICA thing, every year!. Absolute pain in the butt!
Brad76
Reading the narrative and associated errors would suggest scam!
ottg
Easy. Search on the fnb secure website for keywords like: common reporting standard; self-certification; self-certify If nothing found or no explanation given then don't do anything! My guess is to rather wait for SARS to take action - if ever Oh and never click on images in suspect pdf files as it can contain hidden code snippets. https://www.trustwave.com/Resources/SpiderLabs-Blog/Hiding-Webshell-Backdoor-Code-in-Image-Files/
