Successful 190 as primary school teacher

Hi all

 

Has anyone recently had success as primary school teacher as main applicant under 190 visa? I will be really keen to hear from you:)

@Vanbros, unfortunately to  apply for a 190 state sponsored visa, you need to have an occupation that is listed on the MTSSL (the new skilled occupation list). The only teachers that are listed there now are early childhood (pre-primary), secondary school, special needs, special needs for sight impaired and special needs for hearing impaired. 

 

Primary school teachers were removed from the list a long time ago. I would suggest contacting one of our agents here on the forum and getting a professional opinion on your options. You may be able to get a skills assessment done as a pre-primary school teacher as the school ages here differ slightly from those in RSA.
