JJR
Me and my husband are keen to move and are considering the financial implications. As I understand it, the money paid for the 2nd installment - $43 600- will not be refunded in future. Have I got this right?
0 TeeTMI
That is correct, it is part of the visa application charge. The Assurance of support is refunded assuming support was not required. There is a good thread on the forum about the parent visa, I'm sure someone will post a link to it - but you should be able to search for it. I'm sure that reading that will be useful. If you are looking for a migration agent to assist with the process feel free to drop me a line.
