Do I need to withdraw 189 EOI after getting NSW 190 ITA ? Immigration agents please reply too

Sweepea

Question

We received our NSW 190 ITA on Friday 13 Nov and I submitted docs online on 19th Nov. just to recap, I first applied for 189 visa but with no accountants being invited with under 70 points recently, I applied for 190 since I have 65 points (well 70 under NSW 190 as I get extra 5 for choosing NSW)

Do I have to cancel the first EOI for the 189 visa that I applied for now? Or can I just leave it?

Can the immigration agents please also reply and anybody else who knows?

Thank you so much

Hello Sweatpea,

Congratulations on your ITA from NSW.

You do not need to withdraw your SC189 EOI - in fact I would recommend you don't withdraw it as it is possible your NSW SS application could be unsuccessful (but hopefully it won't be!).

Regards
