CherylC
For those of you who like visiting the national parks in South Australia, please take note that you need to make bookings online as from the 1st of August, 2014. We used to pay at the parks but money has been stolen from these sites and they needed to take steps to prevent these money losses. See article below:"Book Your National Parks Stay Online at parks.sa.gov.auPlanning a camping trip in Innes National Park or Mount Remarkable National Park? From Friday 1 August, you are required to book and prepay for camping online. From this date camping bookings are essential and cash payments will no longer be taken at the parks. Book early if you’re planning to visit during peak periods such as long weekends and school holidays as the campgrounds are in high demand. Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance. The Visitor Information Centre at Innes National Park will have a self-service station with computers for credit card payments. This station will be available during the centre’s opening hours. So remember - Book & Pay at: www.parks.sa.gov.au "
Bob
I like to pay for an Annual Pass. That way, I get to stay up to five nights in national parks and conservation parks for no extra cost.
