KIMO Posted August 26, 2013 Report Share Posted August 26, 2013 Hi All,My husband has a diploma in civil engineering and has over 10 years experience in site/project management within construction industry. We have been here almost 3 1/2 months now and he is really struggling to get his foot in the door as every application comes back with "need local experience":( so disappointing especially when we have arrived on a states sponsored visa based on the "need for his skills" here in WA.Appreciate if anyone knows of anyone who could help us out here and try get him a foot in the door with a construction company as we are starting to get a little desperate now.
