Hi all

Fabulous forum. I wish i knew about it a year ago. The 100 list is great did not know half of those things. Started collecting docs. Are there any nurses out there who have successfully gone through the process? Apparently AHPRA does not need me to the IELTS if i can prove that i studied in english. My concern is that i may need it for the visa application.

Thanx

I would like to contact an agent on this site who could help me with my process please, i would like to get this ball rolling :)

Hi Bronwyn B

Welcome to the forum. If you read this thread http://www.saaustralia.org/index.php/topic/40449-migration-agents-the-good-the-bad-and-the-downright-ugly/ you will see a few reccomendations for agents, especially some we know as they are members of this forum.

Baie welkom en sterkte :ilikeit: :ilikeit: :ilikeit:

Soos ek verstaan hoef jy nie Ielts te doen as jou onderrig taal vir 5 jaar of langer in Engels was nie. Jy sal moet dokumentasie van die univeristeit/skool/kollege kry om dit te staaf.

Hi Bronwy

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the rest of the process and journey. I wish I had found this forum before we appointed an agent. It would have saved us a lot of trouble and money.

There are some good agents here on the forum. Ajay, TeeTMI and SD_MOA come to mind.

Welcome to the forum!

While we are talking about agents - on my screen on top there are regular adverts, and today its Ausfis's turn

But I have read that Ausfis is a complete scam. I have a friend who also paid R 500 and never heard of them again. I just wondered how it is that they are still operational if they are scammers?

Hi there RichardH you made me a bid worried as I am with Network Migration and are doing my Ielts on the 27 July and if all is in order I must give it over to them to guide me further thru the process Can I ask why you would not recommend them thanks

We fired them in 2009. They (Andy) gave the big sales pitch and in fact all they do is 'sell' you advice which you can get on this forum for free. We filled out all the docs and they still got the application wrong, they were very sloppy. Once Andy gets the money it's just handed over to some lackey who doesn't have a clue. Their service is terrible and over priced and when the GFC struck and virtually all visas were suspended they didn't even know almost a month after DIAC telling agents. They are not MARA registered either. My advice is use an Aussie based agent who is cheaper and knows what is going on and above all is recommended on this forum. You won't find Network Migration recommended on here!

Hi BronwynB, we used Andre Burger from André Burger & Associates. They were very helpful and efficient. They have a offices in JHB and Sydney. It does comes at a cost though.

As others have suggested there are highly recommended agents on the forum.

We used Geoff Higgs, an ex-Zimbabwean living in Australia and we would recommend him.
