AnnieL
I put it on especially for you and Mara! I have two 14 year old cats (their sister died a few months ago) and one about 2 years. Mortal enemies of my dogs. Love them all to bits.
AndreaL
Thank you, there is nothing that cats do that doesn't thrill me......I love my furbabies.......I'm not a gushy or emotional person, but cats just melt me I'll have to put some pictures on of them.
Mara
I agree with Andrea, there is absolutely nothing a cat will do that can surprise me any longer, and honestly nothing that really upsets me. I had two Bengal rescues, with me for four months only, had to replace my study, lounge and kitchen curtains, as they left beautiful shred marks in them. This is Smooch, king of the world, waiting for a place to happen. This is Suzy, his slave, just waiting for his instructions. This is the two of them on my study desk, just wondering what they can wreck next. Then they pass out, and everyone thinks they are two angels! These are my two, Lucy left and Babski right, both Balinese. Unfortunately we now only have Lucy, Babski passed away 3,5 years ago, from LeukemiaI did manage to teach the Bengals manners, and they were doing very well, when they were rehomed. Three months later.... they had forgotten everything.

Mara
Andrea, if you would like some new cat collars for your pussycats, please pm me your address and I will send you some. I somehow get carried away every time I go to the USA and now have enough collars that will way outlast Lucy.
AndreaL
Yes please! Pepper especially loses his ( on purpose I suspect) and I also have to replace the council tag each time at $5 a pop.The boys play fight and pull one anothers collars off. Jessie ( who I haven't out up a photo of yet) is a good girl and doesn't lose hers.Personally, I would leave Pepper without a collar as he has a beautiful butterfly marking on his upper back ( you would be familiar with that from the Bengals you had) but sadly the people here seem to think that a cat without a collar is a feral ( despite my cats being microchipped) so I can never risk them being without a collar.Chiili Lamb has a collar that we had to cut down and I have been waiting for his head to grow ( sadly it hasn't and quite possibly his brain too) the only thing that has grown is his backside.....he was abandoned and taken to the local vet, where I adopted him. I thought he would get over his fear of not getting food...........but no, that cat can eat 9 wet meals a day if you let him.In fact ( and I know this is horrible) in the time it took me to give my daughter her hotdog with melted cheese, Chilli Lamb had licked the cheese off the grater ( plastic one, so he still has a tongue)I'll pm you......Thanks
Toitjie
adorable video....cats are just the greatest animals on earth!Andrea - I love your Bengals. I would love to have one someday
AndreaL
Only one is a Bengal, the ruffoused one ( the reddish one) the other is a faker, we call him the stand in or body double for the bengal. The marble or spotted pattern is a derivative of the "tabby" markings, mackeral, spotted, classic, ticked, and patched, it is supposed to be evident in all cats if you look closely, apart from the ticked "agouti" coat.http://www.catster.com/cats-101/tabby-catPepper is extra special as he has glitter in his coat. I have one photo where you can almost see it, but I have tried and failed for years to photograph it.......I love watching him in the morning when the sun hits off his coat and the glitter is obvious. Can you tell I am a crazy cat lady? One day, and with some solid genetics learning, I'd love to breed hybrids or extend existing breeds. You should have a look at the charcoal Bengals scroll down this site and you will see the most beautiful charcoal Bengal http://www.enchantedkits.com/Patterns.html

Mara
Those charcoals are magnificent! I would absolutely love another cat, however, Lucy does not take to strangers, at all. Even when Babski was still with us, he would go to hospital for a night, come home, and then it would take a week for her to accept him again. Fortunately he was pretty laid back and just ignored her. Perhaps if I was home all day it would be easier to settle a new cat, but therefore, I have to abide my time!Andrea - The cat collars are sorted, and 12 will be making their way to you shortly...Lucy sends them with her blessings! AndreaL
Oh Mara!, that is so generous of you, my babies will look like Hollywood stars. I'll have to dig out a picture of Jessie today, she has a bit of a hard life because she does not like other cats (she is a rescue we got in Albany WA and I think she may have been hand reared and never socialised) so if the boys go near her she hisses and wails and then they want to chase and attack her.I spend a lot of time protecting her. I actually got Chilli Lamb for Pepper because he was spending his whole day plotting evil ways to get Jessie, it has worked a treat and the boys love one another, but now Chilli Lamb has taken to assaulting Jessie.............I'm having a lot of broken ornaments at the moment because of them. Mara
Absolutely no problem Andrea. Sounds like you need to send Jessie to me for a visit, she can bag half the house and Lucy the other half, they can just snarl as they pass each other
AndreaL
If any of you want to know what it is like to live with Bengals (apart from Mara who knows) have a look at this clip, there are lots of clips of UKee and Koru......the must be the most loved cats in the world (apart from our own that is)
Mara
Yup, there were also a few other you tube records, of why you do not really want to became the slave of a Bengal cat....but I would have them back anytime! They are sneaky, very sneaky, and highly intelligent!
